Good News Today

Good News Today, often shortened to GNT, is a 24-hour Hindi news channel from the TV Today Network, the group that also runs Aaj Tak and India Today. It is not a brand-new channel: from August 2005 it ran as Aaj Tak Tez, known for its fast-paced bulletins, and on 5 September 2021 it was relaunched under its current name.

As the name suggests, the channel tries to balance the daily news cycle with positive and inspiring stories – people solving problems in their communities, achievements in sport, science and education, and helpful information for everyday life – alongside the regular headlines from India and the world. It suits viewers who want to stay informed in Hindi but are tired of non-stop shouting matches and gloomy news.

From the same news family, try Aaj Tak in Hindi and India Today in English. You may also like DD News.
