Hungama

Hungama is a Hindi children's channel that started in September 2004 as India's first home-grown kids channel, set up by UTV and Ronnie Screwvala. Disney bought it in 2006, and it is now part of JioStar, the joint venture of Reliance's Viacom18 and Disney India. Its sister channel is Super Hungama.

The channel is best known for Japanese animation dubbed into Hindi. Doraemon, the robot cat from the future, became so popular here that Hungama shifted almost entirely to cartoons, and Shin-chan is another fan favourite that children have grown up with. Over the years it has also added original Indian animated series. It is made for school-age kids, though plenty of grown-ups still tune in for Doraemon nostalgia.

Kids who love Hungama will also enjoy Disney Channel, Cartoon Network Hindi and Nick Hindi.

Watch Hungama live online on NoWireTV – Hindi cartoons live, free on the website, the NoWireTV Android app and Fire TV. Put it on the big screen with Fire TV, or let the children watch on a phone or tablet without a cable connection.
