CNBC Awaaz

CNBC Awaaz is a Hindi business news channel from Network18, based in New Delhi, which uses the CNBC name under a brand licence. Its name means 'the voice of CNBC', and it was launched on 13 January 2005 at an event attended by the then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. Its focus is the stock market, the economy and personal finance, explained in Hindi.

During market hours the channel follows the Sensex and Nifty closely, with live market updates, stock tips and views from analysts, company results and interviews with business leaders. Outside trading hours it covers personal finance, the economy, budgets, property, taxes and consumer issues. It is made for retail investors, traders and small business owners who prefer their money news in simple Hindi.
