A few smaller titles, such as Pehla Pyaar Doosri Baar, Tum Mere Ho (23 October) and Rashmika Mandanna's Mysaa (27 November), also appear on some calendars, but their dates are less firm. And if you have seen Dhoom 4 listed for 31 October, read the note further down – it is not releasing this month.

Prahaar – The Untold Story of Ujjwal Nikam (16 October)

Rajkummar Rao plays Ujjwal Nikam, the public prosecutor known for some of India's biggest terror trials. The trailer puts the 26/11 Mumbai attacks case front and centre, and the film also goes back to cases like the 1993 Mumbai blasts. Avinash Arun Dhaware directs for Maddock Films. Wamiqa Gabbi, Jaideep Ahlawat, Sikandar Kher and Ashish Vidyarthi are also in the cast. With Rao in true-story mode, this is the serious drama of the month.

Nayyi Navelli (16 October)

Yami Gautam Dhar switches to horror-comedy in this Dussehra release. She plays Mohini, a new bride who arrives in a chaotic Meerut household – and soon the family starts to suspect she may not be entirely human. Balaji Mohan, best known for the Tamil hit Maari, directs. It is produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Colour Yellow Productions. The trailer has gone down well, and festive-season family comedy is a safe bet.

Udta Teer (23 October)

Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan team up in this Akash A Kaushik film. The release was first set for 9 October and has since moved to 23 October, so older lists still show the earlier date. According to reports, Ayushmann plays a spy who loses his memory. Early buzz has been modest, but Ayushmann has surprised the box office before.

Tu Hai Meri Kiran (23 October)

Real-life couple Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal share the screen in a romantic thriller written and directed by Karan Rawal. The trailer hints at one-sided love turning into obsession, with Zaheer playing the obsessive lover. The title nods to the famous "K-K-K-Kiran" line from Darr, which fits the stalker-thriller mood. The trailer even played in cinemas alongside Drishyam: The Conclusion.

Ramayana: Part 1 (5 November)

The biggest film on this list. Nitesh Tiwari's retelling of the Ramayana stars Ranbir Kapoor as Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana. It is planned as a two-part epic, and the second part is aimed at Diwali 2027. The makers announced a worldwide release on 5 November, which some international listings show as 6 November. Advance booking is reported to open around Vijaya Dashami. Expect it to dominate Diwali week.

Full cast, budget and Part 2 plans: Ramayana (2026) – everything we know.

Pratap (20 November)

Amit Sadh plays a decorated encounter specialist who ends up on the wrong side of the law he once enforced. Sachin Saraf writes and directs, with Esha Deol, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Milind Gunaji and Seema Biswas in key roles. It is a mid-budget thriller, the kind that often finds a bigger audience on OTT later.

Yeh Prem Mol Liya vs Gunmaaster G9 (27 November)

November ends with a clash. Yeh Prem Mol Liya is Sooraj Barjatya's latest family romance, with Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari in the lead and Anupam Kher in support. If you grew up on Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!, this is the one to watch for.

The same day brings Gunmaaster G9, an action romance directed by Aditya Datt and starring Emraan Hashmi with Genelia Deshmukh. The fun twist: Aparshakti Khurana is in Gunmaaster G9, so the two Khurrana brothers face each other at the box office. Emraan comes in on a high after Awarapan 2.

Is Dhoom 4 releasing on 31 October 2026?

No. A few release calendars show Dhoom 4 on 31 October 2026, but that looks like a placeholder date. According to reports, the film's script is still being worked on, and in July 2026 Ranbir Kapoor reportedly walked away from it. Yash Raj Films has not announced any release date. Earlier reports had pointed to 2027. For the full story, see our Dhoom 4 explainer.
