Vijay Takkar

Vijay Takkar is a Tamil youth entertainment channel from the Star Vijay family, now owned by JioStar. It began broadcasting on 10 October 2022, replacing the earlier music channel Star Vijay Music, which had launched in 2020. The new channel was designed to speak to young Tamil viewers, especially college students and Gen Z audiences.

When it launched, the channel promised youth-centric shows such as College Da, a programme built around college life, along with game shows and dating-style formats. Its schedule mixes this kind of light, trendy entertainment with films, music and selected shows from the wider Vijay library. The overall feel is fun and fast, with a younger tone than the main Star Vijay channel, which makes it a natural pick for teenagers and young adults.

For the big Vijay serials and reality shows, switch to Star Vijay HD. If you want a film, Vijay Super HD plays movies all day, and Sun Music HD is a good choice for Tamil songs.

Watch Vijay Takkar live online on NoWireTV. You can stream it on the NoWireTV website, the NoWireTV Android app and on Android TV or Fire TV, on your phone or the big screen.
