Aastha

Aastha is a Hindi devotional and spiritual channel launched in 2000. It was founded by Kirit C. Mehta and is run by Aastha Broadcasting Network; the channel has since been linked to Acharya Balkrishna of Patanjali, who holds a controlling stake. Aastha was among the first Indian spiritual channels to reach audiences abroad, with an international feed in the UK and the US.

The channel is built around faith and wellbeing. You will find spiritual talks by saints and gurus, live coverage of religious events and festivals, bhajans and devotional music, along with programmes on pilgrimage places and Vedic traditions. Yoga, Ayurveda and meditation are a big part of its day, which makes it popular with older viewers and anyone who likes to start the morning with prayer and exercise.

For more devotional viewing, try Sanskar. If you enjoy mythology and family viewing, DD National and Shemaroo TV are worth a look too.

Watch Aastha live online on NoWireTV for Hindi bhajans, yoga and spiritual discourses live – free on the website, the NoWireTV Android app and Fire TV. Play the morning aarti on your TV through Fire TV or keep it going on your phone wherever you are.
